They met incidentally, unknowingly.

In a circle of laughter and bliss,

They were strangers in every way.

Alienated to the world long known

So they’d created a connection

Where no one can fathom

For only fate and destiny

Know their hearts’ mysteries.

They walled themselves around.

From the world of hatred and grudge

The world from where they were cursed.

By life’s indifference and reality’s wrath

They regard themselves a gang.

Where no one want to mess around

They stand together in same ground.

In crime, in game, in danger and in fame
As one in wilderness, no one can tame.
They know how to polish one’s fear.
And to make one self as another’s gear.
Oh! Here once their fraternity!
Where everyone have the ability
To go beyond one’s reality
On a gang once used to be.

Dubai

Dubai

You promised dreams too real.
You offered chances.
Something I can’t give.
I’m nothing compares to you.
You’re such a beauty.
For every man’s needs.
That’s why I despised you.

But I’m inlove; Yes, I’ve to submit.
In your cradle he found comfort.
Who am I to hold?
To shattered his newly found hope.
And his heart belongs to you now.
Coz in you the dream he long.
In me, the curse he needs not to take.

Dubai! You had promised.
Take him from me,
Let him be in bliss.
I know he’ll be happy.
Even he’s with the world without me.

My Ui’ko

My Ui’ko

There is that one special picture, they say.
One that won’t tarnish and never will fade.
Etched in my memory that one very special day.
When I saw your first, Oh! That beautiful face.

With a blue cap you came with a boyish grin.
On the first touch, the hug that made my heart spins.
Your pink shirt hid your blush and your bashful smile,
As I gave you the roses and my long late silent ‘hi’.

Your eyes that see me through, so real, so sincere,
That showed me love, washed my pretenses and fears.
Your lips red as cherries and sweet as honey dews.
Made me remember the time we both whisper our ‘I Love Yous’.

The magic of first kiss took my breath away.
And the way we held hands demanding both to stay.
Oh! How can I forget the sounds of your laughter?
When you chuckle, or when have words of love to utter.

At night, I lie awake to hear you breathe.
Seeing you smile when dream touches your sleep.
I gave kisses to silence your gentle snores.
And warm you under my arms as the night rain pours.

The morning breeze brightens your smile.
As you opened my day with a kiss and a content sigh.
You are the sugar to my bitter coffee’s filled life.
You quenched my thirsty heart, woke me up from lies.

Oh! How I thank God for giving you to me.
You’re a beauty, a love more than anything can be.
Beyond real, beyond dream, beyond truth, beyond fair,
Much of what I deserve, much of an answered pray’r.

But if by chance these memories of you fade.
When death claims my heart and my soul’s hailed.
Read these lines and forever you’ll see.
That a picture of you, there in my heart will always be.
And if forever eventually ends, though,
Remember that you will always be my ui’ko.

“I Love The ‘O’ Mark”

“I Love The ‘O’ Mark”
052610

My heart had been broken more than a million pieces.
It had been numbed from pain, deadened from love.
The love I once knew imprisoned me from the past.
The past that haunted me and the only solace is death.

I was marked curse from the feelings many seek.
I dreaded the storms that made me weak.
I once marked myself with the symbol of love.
It found me but it came to break my heart.

I spent wasted times picking myself whole.
But only to be broken again when I’d picked them all.
The heart I have once said its forever and infinite.
But its forever is a lie and its infinite is obsolete.

Just when I thought I will never love again.
You came without warning to ease my pain.
You didn’t pick my pieces to make me whole.
You mould another me unstained, untainted and pure.

You asked me not to forget the past love I hated.
Because of it you said I won’t be the one you had.
You dreamed your future with me to hold, to have.
Marked me with the symbol I never thought its love.

Heart may break but the love you have will not.
It never ends and forever it’ll goes round.
It’ll never tire and it will never stop to care.
Not even death can claim or break this chain.

You’re the other half that makes me whole.
Rescued me from the past a dream come true.
Surreal it seems but in your eyes it’s real.
You showed me love that will never last.

I love the mark you left within my heart.
It’s forever and infinite as it was.
Your name etched in it if you can just read.
And I promise you I love you till this mark break.

I love you till the day you’ll ask me not to.

Finding I Love You

Finding I Love You
June 08, 2010
edited by my bestfriend vhone

I’ve been searching for the words many seek.
Much died for it, others shattered them weak.
While others said it’s the sweetest, others just weep.
Half of the world dreaded, half celebrated it.

I’ve been searching for the last ingredient.
That may give mine the perfect taste.
Coz I don’t know what was lacking.
Why mine is too hard for finding.

I had found many of it, but mine is lost.
I never heard the one I envied most.

Let’s start with the first, just when my heart first loved.
The man I thought who would color my world lush.
At first, the paradise we’ve built filled me joy.
When he said those words with a smile so buoy.
Because he sounds the perfect ode,
And I have his trust and his love to hold.
But just when things fell on their perfect lay.
Destiny danced the steps which he paid.
With the burden he carried and the lies he hid,
His ‘I Love You’ sounded a bitter ear indeed.
After the night when love sealed its final kiss,
I remembered him saying “Call me Chris.”

It’s long before I found the second,
Dressed in white, pure, sincere and toned.
He’s with me in times of anger and bliss.
And he gave me all but never a kiss.
He treated me special, more than a friend can ask.
Laughed with me and sometimes kicked me in the ass!
There’s no dull moment with this carefree guy.
He had the power to turn a truth from a lie.
But every heart has its secrets to unfold.
With these I found the reason why he came cold.
‘I can’t love you eventhough I want to’ said he.
And the truth dawned from his eyes, tired as ever be.
Before goodbye he said his ‘I Love You’.
Sweet it may sound but tears made it sour.
Yes, you wonder who might be this man.
Well, he called himself Gian.

Friends as it seemed after the first acquaintance.
With this sweet young boy from a long ‘rail’ distance,
I met him with those eyes that saw me through my soul.
And he’s always there to answer my call.
We shared memories and laughter to cherish.
We always had goodnight kisses on the cheeks.
We shared cigarettes and tossed glass of vodka.
And warm each other with tight hugs o’ loca.
He would always whisper his ‘I Love You’
And would wait for me to shiver and say that too.
He says I’m special, and he wants me,
Everytime he leans on my shoulder, or lay on my knee.
I watched him asleep on the pillows we both had.
Wishing that somehow, love was all we shared.
Because everytime he’s with me I wished we’re lovers.
That on his part he’ll learn to love me more than just friends.
With his ‘I Love You’ he became one of my favorite names.
Especially at the time he held his hand and said, ‘I am James’.

It’s a gamble; you may say when I first took the trick.
When I laid all my aces left me drained and weak.
Taking the bet and allowing all the risks.
Just to ease the pain of my heart from agony’s sick.
Just at the time I’m fixing that broken, fallen part of me.
I met a childish him, so modest so carefree.
I can play the game I thought I’ve mastered.
So I did my best to let him fall on my maze.
To be whole, I shattered and picked his innocence.
He withdrew all ‘coz I deceived him with my pretense.
But see what a fool I’ve been.
I fell into the pit of my own game.
Coz his affections bound me restless.
I had loved him more than anyone else.
We shared true love that started from lies.
Had moments of joy that lingered ‘till my heart dies.
He had his ‘I Love You’ sealed with every kiss.
It tasted sweet for a moment of hiss.
But time and distance shaded the lies.
I found out that he had me just for an experience of a kind.
Guilty have I been, and the pain is real.
When the love we made shattered into my worst dream.
Oh! How will I ever forget his childish grin?
And the way he said ‘‘I Love You’ it’s me, Kim.

I’m tired and I had lost hopes.
Searching for the words in any slope:
Maybe I’m not destined to be loved.
Or maybe I am destined to just love.
Life is both fair and unfair.
It’s just that I’m unlucky but I cannot wail.
I don’t know what is wrong,
Just as sure as they don’t know what is right.
Maybe I’ve been searching too long.
Or that he’s been hiding too tight.
I’ve tasted it from different lips.
But there is this one thing I have missed.
Where is the final touch for it to be perfect?
When can I say I love you back in its truest affect?

Then it came when things got tough.
He just declared his love, isn’t that silly enough?
He said his ‘I Love You’ before I knew his name.
Of course I laughed with this ridiculous shame.
I never thought I’d fall.
Into the midst of this unwanted call.
He let me feel that love can come unexpectedly.
And made me understood that he truly loves me.
He made me laughed on my worries.
And he loved me more when I shed tears.
At first I’d never believe.
How a stranger in one’s heart could live.
He wired distance for us to cross.
And he told me that I am his other half lost.
He had the breeze to carry me his kiss.
And had his smooth voice lulled me to sleep.
He laughs with my senseless jokes.
And he had everything from me to note.
He gives me preaching words when I’m drunk.
And caressing words when I dropped drunk!
But he never forgets to declare his love.
Everytime I said sorry and beg him to laugh.
Oh how lucky has I been.
To have someone whose love is undying.

‘I Love You’ he said.
‘What’s your name?’ I asked.
I heard him laughed, the sweetest song I’ve heard.
Then it dawned on me the moment he replied.
That with all the ‘I Love Yous’ I’d found.
They just told me to utter the sound.
They gave their names for me to just say.
As if it is the only best way.
Never had they let me give them names.
That’s why they never became mine.
That’s why their ‘I Love Yous’ are not mine.
I smiled for I found it sweet.
To hear those words from a stranger’s lips:
My heart beats with a joyful rhyme.
Coz at last I’ve found my perfect line.
The words I’ve been searching for.
It has been with me all this time.
I heard him said his name, his voice long been gone.
But the resounding hums of his heart loud and hard.
It came in sync with my ever wounded heart.
My heart knew it all along.
That through all these years I’ve never been alone,
He’s with me, just waiting to be called.
Deep within me in the place I walled.
He’s waiting for my voice to shout out his name.
He hears it clear only when my heart knows no more pain.
My love for him is pure and true.
Coz finally I’d found my ‘I Love You’
‘Mark’ me love that forever will flow.
With thee I bowed low.
‘I’ named him ‘ui ko’

Come Momma

Come Momma
012306

Come Momma…touch me.
Feel my warmth before it vanish.
Feel my crimson cheeks.
Don’t be afraid, Momma.
I’m not angry…come closer.

Take a look at your boy,
My green eyes which opposed yours,
Once hope for the first sight,
Of your first smile;
These curly lashes, crooked nose,
My tiny lips;
All from yours Momma,
So don’t be afraid…look at your boy.

Regard not for my twisted legs.
My battered arms and crumpled bones.
For once they are flawless.
They are of my father’s, right Momma?
I dreamed once for a baseball cap.
A baseball game where I can use those arms;
My father would be the pitcher,
And I would be the batter.
And I saw you too Momma,
Laughing with my every weak sway;
Wouldn’t that be fun Momma?

Come Momma…Don’t be afraid.
Cradle me, and hug me tight.
Clean this bloody mess,
And let me suck your breast.

I waited for months.
To see the world’

I tried to hold tight,
As the monster pulled me out;
I can’t bear the pain Momma
I’d screamed!
But I know it hurts you too.
For you screamed more than I did;
It was then that I let go.
See? It wasn’t your fault Momma.
I let go.

Look at me now Momma.
Bathed with your precious blood;
Lying on this cold can;
I’m not angry at you,
Nor with Dada;
For I know you had reasons more than I do.

Just promise me,
That soon when baby brother come.
Show him the world,
The world I’d never seen.

Come Momma…closer.
Are you not going to hug your son?

Hubaran Mo Si Adan

Hello, Old Friend

"Hello, Old Friend"
June 09, 2012

Hello old friend?
I'm glad we meet again.
You traveled far, Are you tired?
Come and sit for a while
And tell me about your gold mine.

How are you old friend?
It's been a while...
since the day you said your goodbye.
Did life been good to you?
Or has it been a little cruel too?

You said your long forgotten 'Hi?'
I can see it from your familiar smile.
That you've gone a distant mile.
Did you find what you've been looking for?
The things you said I didn't have before?

Why are you crying old friend?
Why are you feeling my old pain?
Aren't you the one who seek for the dream?
The dream where I wasn't belong.
Did you find it all along?

What are the tears for, old friend?
Aren't you happy seeing me?
Oh, I shed them before too.
When you found your way out,
Leaving me shattered with a broken heart.

I missed you and I will miss you again old friend.
There still be tears just like it has been.
I won't hold you now and beg you to stay,
This time it doesn't feel the same,
Because its been a while, old friend.

Cleopatra

Cleopatra
112909
glenmore bacarro

You’re the beauty men ever saw.
Stood out from the desert’s hidden foes
You captured the hearts of those bravest men.
And crumpled them with unbailable shame

You had the power many envied
But nothing compares to the love you bid.
For you, dear maiden only true love rules
Beyond wealth, beyond power, the greatest fool!

They may never know how much you gave.
To save the kingdom on hands at stake
Without tears you’re blinded by the desert’s sun
Left broken by the love that had been gone.

Oh Lady! There’s sadness in your eyes.
Your heart bleeds yet your beauty smiles.
Uttering the name, the love, yet you never cry.
And on the cursed jar, you drank the serpent’s lies.
