Waiting

Waiting
090406

I’m sitting on the sand along the shore.
And waiting for the seagulls for them to soar.
I’m alone in this gloomy somber place.
Dreaming of your lovely candid face.

Playing the hymn on my untuned flute.
This lonely heart remained to be mute.
And as the waves gently kissed my canoe.
I am waiting here on our lost rendezvous.

The sun hid beyond the horizon.
Twilights near to vanish soon be gone.
The night had come the moon gleamed in full.
Yet this heart of mine nothing can lull.

When you said its over I cried not.
But I felt the pain of getting dumped.
In this place where the world once ours.
I saw it shaking and wretched by lies.
