"F” is for Forgiveness

"F” is for Forgiveness

January 23, 2007
sonnet

I came back to the place I detest.
With me was the flame of my revenge.
Though my heart’s beating on its protest,
My brain’s screaming in offending wrench.
I was met by a nauseous façade.
Had been kissed by the necrotic fog,
The acidic eddy caught my dodge.
And the gloomy mountains gave the hug.
Standing here on this fetid fortress,
Before me, the sea looked back in daze.
Strange! Coz I felt love and happiness.
And my vindications lost on this maze.
My eyes blurred by tears, here’s my revenge.
Heart’s forgiveness, in love I’ve been drenched.
