A Lullaby
Come and we’ll sing you a lullaby.
I’ll take the lead, sure they’ll fallow.
We will sing to you the sweetest hymn ever.
And the softest rhyme one can ever imagine.
We want nothing; we don’t want to be paid.
We were just singing, never to bargain.
Yet with love the happiness we bring.
You handed us something – a memory.
