Ruthelene

Ruthelene

She said she loves me more than anyone else.
But for me, all is but a comical test.
She claims acceptance of my reality.
And I laughed on her words of oddity.

We’ve been together through sadness and worries.
She laughed with me and she created memories.
Funny how love defies law of sanity,
How it turns mystery to one’s misery.

When with her, always I play my favorite game.
By making her cry until she screams with shame
But when she wept, I knew the game was over.
I had to play the game of consoling her.

If I could just love her the way she loves me.
Then everything will be okay, nothing’s grim.
But Ruthelene here it goes the irony.
On fate’s own game, you love me but I love him.
