Waiting

Waiting
090406

I’m sitting on the sand along the shore.
And waiting for the seagulls for them to soar.
I’m alone in this gloomy somber place.
Dreaming of your lovely candid face.

Playing the hymn on my untuned flute.
This lonely heart remained to be mute.
And as the waves gently kissed my canoe.
I am waiting here on our lost rendezvous.

The sun hid beyond the horizon.
Twilights near to vanish soon be gone.
The night had come the moon gleamed in full.
Yet this heart of mine nothing can lull.

When you said its over I cried not.
But I felt the pain of getting dumped.
In this place where the world once ours.
I saw it shaking and wretched by lies.

The Masterpiece

The tale had come to its epilogue.
The epic’s now loosing its rhyme.
The poet was caught by his thought.
His art had committed a crime.

He made her perfect, filled her with grace.
And mould her beyond flawless mistakes.
Beaded with charms, polished with care
But she left him in great despair.

She left her master with broken soul.
She - the symbol of lust now she soars.
She’ll live in betrayal and grudge.
And her master was clothed with crimson wrath.

The Magdalene

The Magdalene

Your beauty concealed by the red veil.
So as the name was stained by sins.
You deemed forgiveness, tears you shed.
But long had been forgiven by your own faith

People doubted your purity.
Had been marked throughout history
Woman they may never know.
How much in you their pasts owed.

You were painted with bold lust.
Mocked by the pens that tinted you
Few can see the love you trust.
And the sacrifices you went through.

Many condemned you without mercy.
Believing what they thought were true.
For history books even denied you.
Adoring you; we are few.

Woman! Picture of a sinful dream
Part of you hallowed the other mocked.
Hatred kissed you, innocence concealed.
They fear your beauty, your voice unheard.

Who was she who begged forgiveness?
Who was she who cried repentance?
Who was she who clung to her faith?
Woman it’s you, but they knew no more.

Who was she who kept her promise?
Who was she who humbled herself?
Who was she who kept no hatred?
Woman it’s you, but they regard less.

Forgive me for in beauty I am blinded.
Grant me grace for in sin I am jailed.
Veil me your red tulle so that I’ll be forgiven.
Woman with your love lead me to Him.

Heaven had given you your special throne.
With the Father; the Son and the Virgin without sin
Together w/ the saints & the angels who sing.
Woman They knew that you’re more than pure.

“I am Tong”

“I can’t be with you
To be your boyfriend,
But that doesn’t mean
That I don’t love you.”

So sweet are those words
Yet bitter to taste.
For love can’t keep us together.
We are destined to part.

Reality hurts.
That even when love transcends
Through gender and sex
Reasons are made.
Whenever I dare touched your face.

I must go on to life.
Shattered and broken inside.
Blame me dear Mew!
For doing what they thought was right.

“I am Mew”

I made this song
Especially for you!
Since the day you left
You carried part of me.
I found no true love.

Here you are now with me.
Hearing the song I play.
Written in love by my thirsty heart,
Words whispered by your rosy lips.
Before it touches mine!

We live in the song
I made – you created.
Since the day you came back.
You gave the missing note
Of this ever fearsome heart!

Now you’re saying goodbye.
Infront of you I’ll cry not.
You showed how much you love me.
With a bitter smile, Tong I thank thee.

“Ballad to Tong & Mew”

Love comes in no gender they say.
But here comes the irony.
Because in a world of morality.
Love belongs for a she and a he.
Two hearts filled with love.
But they are destined to be apart.
Now tell me what you considered fair?
In this unjust world we hail.

For a moment let reasons be wasted.
Give just to what is wrong.
Let reality at the moment be freed.
Allow these two hearts, let love to keep.
Let Tong kiss Mew once again.
And let him lie on his chest.
Let them taste every blissful promises.
Of the love many detests.
Let Mew sing his song for Tong.
Let it not stop extend it forever long.
For when you hear his sweet melodies,
They are together in a fulfilled dream.

Ask no questions, say no lies.
Let just love be the only reason.
And let the moment be theirs alone.
Keep them together if not in dream,
Then maybe in this song!
Because if only in this moment.
That they can have each other,
Where love is true and just fair!

Maybe…
Just maybe…
Tong won’t leave.
Mew won’t let go.

The Fallen Vestal

The Fallen Vestal

You were born selected.
Your first cry was your first protest.
But fair you were created.
To be envied and to be praised!
They put you up high.
They honor your words.
They gave you possessions.
A lady they adore!
You’re a woman of power.
As long as you keep your vow!
For if you are to break.
You’ll be kissing hatred!
You vow loyalty to your Goddess.
The first rule you cannot detest.
For She gave you your honor.
And in her anger you are spared.
The second is to keep the torches burning.
To give light to her hallowed temple.
Like you with your heart in darkness.
The light of hope is all you have.
And the final rule for you to keep.
A celibate life and your vow of chastity!
That when love knocks on your door.
Shed tears and never to answer its call.

You sacrificed too much.
But your beauty remains unscratched.
Oh Fair Lady! You may regret not!
But inside you a heart that needs love.
Yes! You can do nothing.
Because you were chosen!
If you are to break the third rule,
Which your heart desired,
They will not only chastise you.
But it’ll cost you your honored life.
They will punish to death infront of you.
The man whom you loved!
You may be insulted in hatred.
But nothing compares the heart in pain.
And soon you will face too.
Same fate as those before you!
They may never touch your beauty.
But they will deny you dignity.

You are alone in the darkness.
Stench stones surround you.
You can smell its emptiness.
Because you breaths won’t leave you!
A loaf of bread,
From the luxury you once have.
An oil lamp,
From the torches you once burnt.
Soon when nothings left,
In the darkness you’ll starve to death!
Perhaps it’s an irony.
For you to be buried alive!
Alone in your dark cold tomb,
Before life leave, memory creeps.
Like so many before you.
Who offered their lives.
For a moment bliss!
That love is the only way to live.
And that death occurs.
The moment fate denies you love.

Starry, Starry Night

Starry, Starry Night

010206

I stood here looking at the velvet sky.
Wondrin’ how people waste some great love.
For so many reason many are hurt.
Why do lovers break their heart?

Before me I looked at the Orion.
Wondrin’ how he’d brushed the night.
How the colors held the love I long.
How its solitary light shone.

‘Starry, Starry Night’ you possessed the charm.
Whoever looked at you shares your longing.
On your dark colors there lies the light.
The hope, your creator never found.

Now I know why they break their heart.
It’s the mystery for you to find.
For why Vincent took his own life.
The answer lies beneath his canvass.

Simply Painful

Simply Painful

It was I who insists.
To give this foolishness a try;
For deep inside my hoping heart,
You’ll learn to love me too.
The way you simply love her!

I’d try my best to keep you.
From the pain she caused you.
To freed you from the curse.
Of her love for somebody else:

Though we were together,
It’s as if I’m invisible.
Your body lies next to me.
But your eyes in a distant gaze,
And your heart in an unknown maze!

Time had passed.
My heart drained with hope.
Though I know from now
You can’t leave me.
You commit yourself
Out of pity!

It hurts me more.
To see you pained.
Everytime I asked you to utter.
The love that’s for long not mine;
The love you’re trying to give back.

So now I must end.
This love and the set up I made.
Coz I’d rather be left unloved and broken.
Than to see you in much pain
And that I cannot bear.

I ask you now to break my heart.
Coz I know there’s no easy way.
In tears you said:
“I don’t want to see you get hurt.”
Fighting back the tears I smiled.
With a heavy heart
I made you close your eyes.
In your face the truth shows.
Innocence and guilt blend with tears.

Your lips had gone dry.
You didn’t utter the words
The words I wanted to hear.
In silence I kissed you one last time.
Before this final goodbye;
“Darling, in a heart that never been whole;
Breaking is simply painful.”

She’s Heavy

She’s Heavy

They asked me to carry you.
But I couldn’t find the strength,
for this one last request.
My knees are shaking.
Hands are trembling.
For I know
This is goodbye.

I kissed you
To let you know I can’t.
Coz I’m not ready yet
To carry and to let you go.
And to let you lie and fall
To the vast playground
Of broken souls.

She Said He Said

She Said He Said

Your name, considered sweeter than the sweetest Rye.
But now I can’t utter it sweet without lie.
My heart gone cold, Darling I don’t know why.
Maybe for now you should loosen our tie.
Believe me; I’ve done all with my best.
But maybe I have done it carelessly.
Coz my love had simply slipped away.
And without guilt I can’t even close my day.
With you I can’t find now the heat.
My heart can’t even have that skipped beat.
We laugh just like the way we used to.
But the humor is lost before you do.
Forgive me but I’m asking for space.
To breathe, to fly and to lay my last ace;
It may hurt I know but soon we’ll heal.
And maybe fate will settle our deal.
I can’t love you the way I used to.
But believe me in my heart love is still there too.
I’m lost or maybe I’m just tired.
For keeping the heat of our vanishing fire.
Don’t think that I never loved you.
Because I know I did more than I can do.
My heart’s confused, in vain.
Loosing you I can’t even find so much pain.
And that what hurts, my beloved.
I fear the ease of loosing the one I have.
For now let’s take our time.
Because maybe tomorrow,
Again you can call me mine.

I am once your one special ‘Private Joe’.
I’m the ‘knight in shining armor’ who bowed low.
But why my dear you’ve gone so cold?
Where is the princess who never looses her hold?
In your eyes I saw now some lies.
To loosen our tie, you’re asking me to die.
You should have known I’ve done my best too.
I held you a little bit tighter, I admit, yes I do.
But with all the guilt I blame you not.
From the mistakes I’ve done I take the cuff.
Don’t leave me alone because you’re my better half.
You’re the one who changed me, the woman I love.
You’re asking for space, I had given you my world.
It hurts; I’m left shattered crumpled to fold.
You want to be free, to breathe, I had given my life.
Without your love, my home I’ve nowhere to hide.
Why let fate defines our deal? Is this game for real?
I can’t win without you, because your love can heal.
Why can’t you love me now the way you used to?
Did I give too much or did I give a bit too few?
I know you had loved me but why your love died?
I never asked you for more, just please don’t tire.
And if you’re confused, in vain and was stranded,
Darling I’m pained, broken and deeply wounded.
You felt the ease because I’d taken the entire blow.
I can’t bear seeing you, taking the pain you caused.
I’m wishing Darling that today is tomorrow.
Let doubts be cleared and give me a chance.
I promise that for the second time,
It’ll be a sweeter mine.

I entered another kingdom.
And I saw the thing I feared.

There hanging on the wall.
Picture of joy on the great hall
I saw her majesty,
Sitting in modesty.

Painted with love;
Brushed with much care.
And fined beyond flawless mistakes
I saw him, the king.
Smiling, loving.

Polished fairly
Molded with laughter.
And colored bright,
Full of life.
I saw the angels.
Exchanging yells.

Before I left the hall.
One final glance at the wall.
For still there hanging with pride
The thing I envied most.

I can’t help but laugh.
Then I’ll start to cry.
Whenever I saw
A family photograph.

Make Believe

Let’s play a game before I let go.
Let fantasies for real and dreams for law.
For a moment let all lies be forgiven.
For new rules, let’s start all over again.

Make believe that you love me too.
Kiss me back whenever I kiss you.
Make believe that you care for me too.
Hold me whenever I miss you.

Make believe that I’m the one you need.
Make believe that I’m the one you heed.
Let love be our bond, make me believe.
That you’re mine, I’m yours together I bliss.

Make believe that nothing can make us apart.
Together we’ll grow old with loving hearts.
Make believe that you will stay forever.
Make me believe that this is real.

Make me believe that this game won’t end.
Let this game control us for you know I can’t.
Make me believe that you’re still here.
Make me believe that I’m not in tears.
