Lines and Shades

Lines and Shades
(poem comment)

they hand me a pen
and asked me to draw
the reason for my smiles
and the love they saw.

i told them i cant
coz love cant be shown
through curves and lines
nor by paint alone.

yet my hand moved
and i saw it has been made
as i started to create
the beauty of your sweet face.

i shaded it with charcoal hue
coz it showed the truest you
gentle was the line of your nose
sincere as it hid not your flaws.

your lips that tear the sweetest smile
that can take away even my content sigh
i tried to make it soft and real in my sketch
as i dream of kissing when i lay the final shade.

lost in luck, i cant draw your eyes.
and i can tell a thousand reasons why
because your true beauty lies in it
that even the greatest artist cant keep.

the eyes that shows your sincere soul
but sometimes of a mischievous kid.
the eyes that shows the truest joy,
but sometimes its where the pain was hid.

so i decided to hide it too...
by shading it in a darker hue.
its for them to find out
behind it is the real you.

Wish Kiss

Wish Kiss *

050513

It's destiny's trick or maybe just fate's magic,
When time and chance made us meet
By God's grace I was swept on my feet
When I saw you, a thing of beauty, so sweet.

I asked for a sign if you are the perfect one
You smiled and all my worries were gone.

I was stunned, rendered speechless
When you showed me your soul, flawless.
I was touched by your candid gentleness
And you filled my tired heart's emptiness.

We walked through the crowded place
Leaving at every step sweet lovers trace.

You made me love you so much
that I cant help but cry.
I cant contain the feelings
that builds so high.
Overjoyed by your mere presence
even just by walking by
I promised to love you
and forever's not a lie.

We went to the place where Gods reside
We knelt and pray, you by my side.

We lighted candles and uttered our wishes,
Warmth our hearts with sweet hush whispers.
And beneath the trees you asked for my wish
Before you leaned and rendered the sweetest kiss.

I smiled and to God I uttered my silent thanks
Then I looked at you and answered "wish granted"

Forget me Not

Forget me Not
042213

You told me you tend to forget,
Something that bothered me since we first met.
How could a sweet carefree soul like you,
Denied by memory and have a cruel fate too.

You were not governed by rules
Nor living the path taken by fools.
But your smiles hide your fears...
uncertainties...and a future of 'what ifs'.

I knocked the door of your fearsome heart
Intimidated; but yet driven by luck.
By chance you opened your heart again
Knowing for a fact that I might be forgotten.

You gave me a chance that worth everything I have.
A risk taken that may cause my last breath.
But I'd rather take this lone gambled line,
To show my love even untill the end of time.

If by chance you'll forget how it feels
The warmth whenever I kiss your lips
Worry not I'll still be holding you tight,
'till you wake up from that lost cursed night.

When everything seems to be in blur...
When nothing seems to be sure...
When you lose me from your memory's core,
I'm still be loving you, I wont break, I wont fall.

And if my love had been forgotten
When my face seems unfamiliar, lost in vain.
It may take a lifetime to feel the pain,
But I promise you, I will love you over and over again.

You

You

The sun shines though your eyes.
Everytime I’m on my darkness hours.
You gave me strength to carry on.
Everytime hope drains me.
You made me smile when tears started to fall.
You hold my hand whenever I’ve no one to call.
You took away all my sadness.
And my worries to regard less
You show me what love truly means.
Everytime I felt your kiss.
You made all things easy.
And show the best out of me.
I never heard you complain.
Nor overcome by anger.
But shows how lucky you are.
For having me nurtured onto your heart.
Oh! Have I told you yet today?
How much I love you too.
That may the Lord bless us.
And to never let us part!

White Roses

White Roses

10:00am&08:28pm

You bid me now to strike my last song.
Coz I kept myself mute for so log.
Now given the chance and bid my last goodbye.
Coz I was born and destined to die.
Here I am laying my last farewell,
Of the last memoir of my day!

Blood of life flows out from my veins
Leaving me drowned with agony and pain.
Remember those white roses clinging?
In the garden of my life their living,
As these bloody liquid stained my memory.
Those roses turn to crimson red.

My Muse! Mother, here you are crying so hard.
And in thy hands I saw not the gambling cards.
I saw the love in thy lonely face.
But now I bid you to lay my last ace.
My bedtime stories, childhood days I long.
Mother, did the mouse chase the lion?

My King! Father here thy servant.
Sorry if for once I’ll break your commands.
With you tears, I saw not the wine but,
I bid you now to gulp my last shot.
Your untouched stick for times I feared.
Here it kept waiting for me to be punished.

My Confidant! Sister I’m leaving you.
Maybe for sometimes I had broken your heart.
Your dark lonely eyes always had been sad.
To see me in throne that would make you glad.
But now the throne is shaking the king is gone.
Sister, from this day on I’m His servant.

My greatest foe, only brother I’ve got.
We’re always in brawl and have the line to cut.
But I’ve never kept any grudges or wrath.
Coz I know every brawl will end to hug.
Now I’m leaving you I’ll miss those smiles.
From thy lips my guidance upon I fly.

My beloved your name I bear.
That once caused me too much tears.
The love I longed gave nothing but pain.
Pain that leads me to another love’s flame
Farewell my love, once true love.
Hope no tears will fall s I’ll be gone.

Best of friends my brother I lost.
Memories of the past, wealth of no cost
Though sometimes we lived in fancies and doubt
For once we shared the arms of someone we both loved.
Eventhough we traveled using different codes.
Destiny’s always lead us to one same cross road.

Friends the old and the new,
Your tears, memories of endless dew
You laughed even on my silliest jokes.
And admired even my senseless thoughts
I’ll leave but never will I be gone.
Memories stay even this tired body was done.

Fellow! Let my body be burnt to the tongue of fire.
Let it tear my cold body leaving those lustful desires.
Strike the lire when my flesh turns to ash.
Sing my lyrics as memories flash.
Cry no more near I’ll be at peace.
As I gently wheeze my final kiss.

With your hand on the polished jar,
Take my ash and blow it afar.
Let it feel the gentle eastern breeze.
And let the sea water to kiss.
Let me feel the warmth of the glowing sun.
Hugged the gleaming moon before will I be gone.

When thy crimson flowers wither and die.
Take my ash and let it kiss where it lie.
And tomorrow there I’ll spring to life.
In my garden there I’ll grow wild.
For these roses once watered by blood.
Someday again they’ll grow in radiant white.

When a River Meets another River

My first vacation to Pamplona after almost 3 years,
I broke my promise to never return to this place not until I graduated.

When a River Meets another River
January 24, 2007
STR; January 01, 2007

When a river meets another river…
It will create a pool.
Where the water flows in contrast;
And to where the waves dance,
In a disrhythmic tunes!
The pressures created in friction;
It feels amazingly cold.
To where it freezes;
Those unlucky wishes:
It filed the rough rocks.
Breaks it into polished stones,
And where the rusty debris,
Formed pebbles on the shores.
From a distance still you can see.
Mirrors beneath…
From its shallow depth,
The unfathomable daze!
On its elemental force,
Where these two rivers met,
A bond was created
That can’t be lost till the end of time.

When a river meets another river…
It can break promises.
To the water where memories flow,
And with the waves,
Are the forgotten thoughts:
The past will blend on today.
And the future with yesterday:
The current may pull back the time.
Or make the present to redirect.
Beyond its shallow shadow
Beauty and love lies.
You can see those frozen memories.
Serve as a pensive for the heart.
Eyes been burned by tears.
Melted and refueled the desires.
Desires to come back,
And to meet the other half;
Anger may have been polished to vindication.
But it breaks down into fair redemption.
Had been kissed by the waves of forgiveness,
And washed away the curse of grudges!

The Prince’s Name

The Prince’s Name

Just for a moment I thought.
Another love’s trick to solve,
Years had passed since the last one.
Made me too hard believe,
And too fool to ignore, that
Never will I love and be hurt again.

Destined to play one more time.
Endless pain again I bear.
Giving my best just to solve its trick.
Under no help.
Zest for victory is at hands.
More on love I dreamed.
And the kisses I longed.
Never will he give. Never!

Pain left me crumbled.
Rest is as restless as it sounds.
I took every bruise just to be keen.
Nothing in return I had.
Saving all the shame left,
I came to solve the trick.
Playing it all in sentence’s lines.
Encrypting his name that defies no time.

The Fallen Vestal

The Fallen Vestal
1103&0509

You were born selected.
Your first cry was your first protest.
But fair you were created.
To be envied and to be praised!
They put you up high.
They honor your words.
They gave you possessions.
A lady they adore!
You’re a woman of power.
As long as you keep your vow!
For if you are to break.
You’ll be kissing hatred!
You vow loyalty to your Goddess.
The first rule you cannot detest.
For She gave you your honor.
And in her anger you are spared.
The second is to keep the torches burning.
To give light to her hallowed temple.
Like you with your heart in darkness.
The light of hope is all you have.
And the final rule for you to keep.
A celibate life and your vow of chastity!
That when love knocks on your door.
Shed tears and never to answer its call.

You sacrificed too much.
But your beauty remains unscratched.
Oh Fair Lady! You may regret not!
But inside you a heart that needs love.
Yes! You can do nothing.
Because you were chosen!
If you are to break the third rule,
Which your heart desired,
They will not only chastise you.
But it’ll cost you your honored life.
They will punish to death infront of you.
The man whom you loved!
You may be insulted in hatred.
But nothing compares the heart in pain.
And soon you will face too.
Same fate as those before you!
They may never touch your beauty.
But they will deny you dignity.

You are alone in the darkness.
Stench stones surround you.
You can smell its emptiness.
Because you breaths won’t leave you!
A loaf of bread,
From the luxury you once have.
An oil lamp,
From the torches you once burnt.
Soon when nothings left,
In the darkness you’ll starve to death!
Perhaps it’s an irony.
For you to be buried alive!
Alone in your dark cold tomb,
Before life leave, memory creeps.
Like so many before you.
Who offered their lives.
For a moment bliss!
That love is the only way to live.
And that death occurs.
The moment fate denies you love.

Sister

Sister
090207

On a cloudy August the thirtieth,
Where the near season kisses our lips;
She was standing on a crowded place.
Where tears and goodbyes blend,
Coz the door, that near will separate us.
It’s now shouting for its call.
She walks without tear.

Glasses in between us,
Where she can see me beyond,
I know she got strength to walk away.
But she has a bleeding heart.
She’s waiting for the giant flying beast.
To where she’ll ride and fly.
For her t touch the distant sky.

Beyond the horizon,
Where the sea kisses the sun;
I know in certainty.
She looked back with a broken heart.
The tears she kept faded the smile.
Coz a three year in a foreign a land,
She dreamed. I prayed for her luck.

Simply Painful

Simply Painful
090508

It was I who insists.
To give this foolishness a try;
For deep inside my hoping heart,
You’ll learn to love me too.
The way you simply love her!

I’d try my best to keep you.
From the pain she caused you.
To freed you from the curse.
Of her love for somebody else:

Though we were together,
It’s as if I’m invisible.
Your body lies next to me.
But your eyes in a distant gaze,
And your heart in an unknown maze!

Time had passed.
My heart drained with hope.
Though I know from now
You can’t leave me.
You commit yourself
Out of pity!

It hurts me more.
To see you pained.
Everytime I asked you to utter.
The love that’s for long not mine;
The love you’re trying to give back.

So now I must end.
This love and the set up I made.
Coz I’d rather be left unloved and broken.
Than to see you in much pain
And that I cannot bear.

I ask you now to break my heart.
Coz I know there’s no easy way.
In tears you said:
“I don’t want to see you get hurt.”
Fighting back the tears I smiled.
With a heavy heart
I made you close your eyes.
In your face the truth shows.
Innocence and guilt blend with tears.

Your lips had gone dry.
You didn’t utter the words
The words I wanted to hear.
In silence I kissed you one last time.
Before this final goodbye;
“Darling, in a heart that never been whole;
Breaking is simply painful.”
